Macadamia Nuts – The King of Nuts

Macadamia Nuts –The Nut of Exceptional Quality

Macadamia (Macadamia spp.), also known as bush nut or Queensland nut, belongs to the plant family Proteaceae. The fruit is characterized by a hard, brown, woody shell enclosing one or two edible kernels. These kernels have a milky-white color and a naturally sweet, delicate flavor. Due to the exceptional hardness of the shell, special tools are required to extract the nut.

Macadamia cultivation began in Vietnam in the early 2000s and has since grown rapidly to meet both domestic demand and export potential. Originally introduced from abroad, macadamia trees have quickly adapted to the fertile soils and temperate climates of the Northwest and Central Highlands, particularly in provinces such as Dak Lak, Lam Dong, and Dien Bien. Over the past two decades, macadamia nuts have risen in global popularity thanks to their outstanding nutritional profile and health benefits, earning them the title “King of Nuts”—one of the most nutritious tree nuts in the world.

Cultivation & Processing

TUANTU’s macadamia nuts are cultivated and harvested in Vietnam following environmentally responsible farming methods that align with Viet Global standards. Our orchards use organic-oriented agricultural practices without GMO seeds, preservatives, or chemical agents.

After harvesting, the nuts undergo a low-temperature soft-drying process using heat pump technology, which preserves their natural nutrients, flavor, and texture. This method ensures that the macadamia remains fresh, wholesome, and safe for all age groups.
